About Me
My name is Dana, and I am a 40-something, Jesus-loving mama with a heart for handmade and building community.
I live in a little tourist town on the north coast of Oregon, am married with two kiddos, two adorable doodles, and seven hens.
I've been making things with my hands for as long as I can remember...as a kid, I did latch hook, cross stitch, paint by number, knitting, drawing, etc. And as a teenager, I was always the one drawing the bubble letters on the homecoming posters. In college, I preferred to crochet until 3am over going out to the parties, and about 17 years ago, I painted my first wood sign. And everything since then has been a wonderful surprise.
Today, I focus most of my handmade work around laser engraved keepsake treasures where YOU get to be the designer! I have found so much joy in this work - taking handwritten notes and turning them into to gifts for your family...but the truth is, my creative retreats have my heart. I hope some day they take up 100% of my work life because they are my true (work) passion. Currently, I travel around the country 3-5 times a year to host 4 day creative retreats where YOU come and make pretty things with me and a handful of other women. We sit around the table and work with our hands, and share with our hearts.
Someday I hope to own my very own retreat home, where I can create a magical, creative and relaxing atmosphere for you! Thanks so much for being here...I hope that you are blessed with the work I do and enjoy it in your home!
